Forget the fact that is was common practice in MLB for more than a decade, forget that there are probably many current Hall of Famers that also participated, but were never caught. Bonds already had Hall of Fame numbers BEFORE he was ever accused of steroids. His numbers were achieved over a 22 year career and they are among the best in all of baseball history. He was the greatest all around player to ever play. He was 14x All Star, he won a record 7x NL MVP Awards, 8x Gold Glove Awards, 12x Silver Slugger Awards, 2x Batting Champion, 2x Home Run Leader, He holds the All Time Career Home Run Record of 762, He holds the Single Season Home Run Record of 73, He Stole 514 bases, the only player in history with 500+ home runs and stolen bases. It's just criminal he's not in the Hall of Fame. So do his records count or not? MLB needs to make up their mind. His records are still on the books so MLB must consider them legit. If they are legit then sports writers should be tossed to the curb and someone with common sense needs to send Bonds to the Hall of Fame.
