Description: 1986-1996 Corvette VATS Bypass Control Switch Code 11 This module is a CODE 11: 4750 OHMS The VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System) System was developed to stop the theft of Corvettes from 1986-1996. While it did that it has also stranded a lot of owners if/or when it becomes inoperable. Using this switch will bypass your Corvette's VATS to allow your car to always start, and avoid expensive repairs and towing costs. This Switch is designed to be installed under the dash by removing and reconnecting the harness, no cutting or splicing required. With this switch you can choose three options: disable the VATS system, immobilize the car, or return it to normal operation. This is controlled easily with just a toggle of the switch. Please be sure to order the correct module based on your Corvette's ignition key code. We have a listing for each of the 15 codes GM used in the Corvette. Any GM dealer can access this code from your own key. Or with a multi-meter at home you can read out which resistance your key is and order the correct code.
