1979 Taylor Cutlery The Plains Series Limited Edition Folding Knife Pair #0022

Description: This vintage 1979 pair is a matched two knife set commissioned by Taylor Cutlery as "The Plains Series" featuring one knife with a Native American buffalo hunt and the other, a trio of grouse. This pair is a very low serial, both numbered 0022, with matching elk horn stag handles. Both marked Elk Horn Surgical 1979 on one side, Taylor Cutlery Kingsport, Tenn. Japan on reverse. Blades measure approximately 4 inches, slip joint lock, manual open, 5 inches closed. Excellent vintage condition: scratches appropriate to age, tight scales and no wobble, nice blades with factory edge in excellent condition. No case or box present.
