Description: Handsome fold-out 1972 Texaco road map of Mexico, printed more than 48 years ago. This map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There's an enlarged view of central Mexico, including Guadalajara, Veracruz, Puebla, León, and Mexico City, along with an inset plan of Acaupulco. On the reverse side there are inset plans of Monterrey, Cuernavaca, Guadalajara, and metropolitan Mexico City, locating hotels, parks, and golf clubs. The map was distributed by Texaco in 1972 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 12-TT. The code on the back cover is 722.
