1970s Russian Aventurine cabochon ring. Beautifully set in 925 silver UK N 1/2

Description: I'm selling my rather amazing collection of modernist and brutalist rings, necklaces and bracelets, all in time for Christmas. These have come from all over the world including the USA, Mexico, Denmark, Germany and Australia. And UK obviously!!Where possible I've researched the maker and date, but often with artisan handmade items that isn't always easy/possible.I'm not a gemologist, but have tested any gemstones as far as I can and also check the provenance from when I bought them.The silver is hallmarked and/or tested. The next six rings are from my Green Period :-). Let's start with this stunner. It is a rather large and very beautiful Aventurine Cabachon. I bought it from Ukraine, it is hallmarked for Russia. (USSR). I can't decipher the makers mark. It weighs 4.9g Aventurine is a form of quartzite, characterised by its translucency and the presence of platy mineral inclusions that give it a shimmering or glistening effect termed aventurescence.
