Description: Here is a wonderful 1960's Bop-A-Bear set by MARX. This set is as close to NMIB as you will be able to find! This game was a real hit in the '60's! You put the bear on the floor, turn it on, and it will roam around. When you shoot it with a dart, it growls and then changes direction!The set is complete with all 6 original darts, a nice instruction sheet, the original packing slip and battery info sheet! The bear looks like it has never even been removed from the styrofoam mounting base in the box since it has the original tape holding the 2 styrofoam base halves together and the bear does not come out without cutting the tape. The dart gun may have been fired at some point, hard to tell, there are some indications of potential use, but still nice. Since I do not try to "test" vintage plastic toys, I do not know the working condition, but as mentioned, I do not think the bear has ever been removed.The box is very nice with crisp, bright colorful graphics that are very cool and nostalgic! The inserts are also in excellent condition. This box even had extra touch of detail with the "wood grain" printed box bottom which is still very clean and undamaged.NOTE: I also have the ORIGINAL PROTOTYPE of the bear body that I acquired from the Marx Museum.
