Description: 1959 Cragstan Battery Op Blue & White Ford Convertible Retractable Roof (Rare) No Box Vintage battery powered convertible ford tin toy car of 50's, made in Japan. The toy isn't in working order, The two white wires are broken off and the steering cable is loose or something, so it doesn't move the Front wheels. The top is on a track & it retracts inside and locks in place or moves up into hard top mode fine, (manually). Only the important top part of the Battery box is still here. In the rear of car there is a lever which when pulled in & out will allow the car to move forward and back, It moves manually fine but unable to see if motor works? All the internal parts are there, like the motor, the track for the top and the lever on the rear hood is there and that is why the top and rear hood stay down so securely, I saw another one for sale on eBay and it was broken. Overall condition of vehicle is good for its age. 11"L. If you can connect the electrical wires it should work fine, the top moves easily and freely up and down manually. not sure about the steering, it's like a bike brake cable and the sheath is not fixed firmly in the battery box, it moves instead of the cable only?No Box, the box in the background I printed from internet. You will get the printing with the toy!
