Description: This listing is for a vintage POPEYE IN THE SPINACH CAN made by Mattel in 1957. This unusual and endearing toy measures 7 inches tall and is made of tin with a plastic Popeye head inside and great great graphics all around. The toy is in very good condition overall, seeing continuous playtime over several generations since the 1950s. It is complete with latch and pipe, which are typically missing. The hat has paint rubs where it hits the lid and the lid has age tarnish. The toy still displays and works great with Popeye coming out of the can when you press the latch.
