Description: This is a Box of 8 original rolls of 1956 D BU wheat pennies/cents. It was originally a box of 10 rolls, but I am guessing my brother opened or traded 2 rolls some time down the line. So the box says $5.00 but there is only $4.00 in there. ALL OF THE ROLLS ARE ORIGINAL AND UNTAMPERED WITH. The end coins are all a little different color, but they are a beautiful tone of red. I can only imagine what they are like in the middle. if I bought this, I would have to open one roll. 1956D has over 18 RPM's listed on Variety Vista. I didnt look at DDo or ddr's here is a link. Its a great reference for die varieties, with lots of pics.http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20LC%20RPMs%20Vol%201/RPMs%201956D.htm I will pack them right in a box to make sure they get to you as they are now! I am going to slowly list my brothers roll collection with mine, and this is one of the things I thought was the coolest. I dont collect copper. I am listing my collection to repair and install a new roof on one of the barns This is something Very unusual and collectable. I have a bunch of promotional little banks from different regional banks, but this is the only thing I have seen like this. Back in the 60's and 70's banks encouraged coin collecting. Not it seems like they hate coin collectors. I am not a dealer, but a life long collector. This is an opportunity for folks to get some of my BU rolls that I have been collecting all my life. Please ask questions if you have them, or do research. I dont want to deal with returns, unless I made a mistake in the listing.
