Description: 1954 Blowing Rock High School Yearbook, Breezes, Blowing Rock, North Carolina. The town of Blowing Rock is located in western North Carolina on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. The is named after The Blowing Rock, a formation with sweeping views of peaks, forests and the Johns River Gorge. There is also a vast park called the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park is a preserved county estate with a 1901 mansion. The mansion is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The park is referred to as Cone Park. Photos 1, 2 and 3 show the front cover, back cover and binding. Photo # 4 shows the Title Page. Photos 5 and 6 show the Senior Class Members. Photo # 7 shows the Program for the 1975 Class Reunion. Photos 8 and 9 show a sample of the 6 pages that were written by Nora Jean Gragg describing the class reunion. I just put in 2 pages. Nora wrote them on onion skin paper so some of writing bled through in the scans. Nora gives a pretty complete description of her classmates after 21 years. Very interesting. Also some of the teachers showed up for the reunion. Photos 10, 11 and 12 show some samples of the many well wishes to Nora Gragg. The last one is from her boyfriend Preston. Photo # 12 shows all the Junior Class Members. Photo # 13 shows all the Sophomore Class Members. Photo # 14 shows all the Freshman Class Members.
