Description: Great example card of Chicago Americans pitcher Grover Alexander from a very rare Eastern Exhibit Supply Co. set produced in Chicago. Note that the back indicates that the original print was produced in Philadelphia, then blocked out by the factory and a line added that production was in Chicago. The set contains only 20 cards. Card has four decent corners. The card front has small pin holes at the top center with "St. Louis Cards '27'" written in small ink lettering on the front. Also note the pencil and ink markings on the postcard back (all are visible in the scans). Despite those flaws, the card is very appealing and very scarce.
