Description: Used as a filing system for the Texas Poland-China Breeders Record Association. Most are from 1920s. Pig breeders hand wrote the boars/sow parentage of their Poland China pigs on half sheets of paper and mailed them to the association for registration. The association either glued them to the ledger or laid them in loosely. Most registrations are dated in the 1920s, some are nearby dates. Wonderful aged paper with handwritten paper glued or inserted. A variety of handwriting on the registration pages. Over half of the pages are completely blank with no writing or registrations. Note: this was not used as a traditional ledger with pages of accounting entries. See pictures for samples.
