Description: Unusual Dual-Thumbwheel #1 or #2 Oil Lamp Burner with Early 8-1/4" Petal-Top Chimney. The burner has patent dates from 1871, 1877 and 1879. The chimney has a flared lip base that locks tightly into the burner with a set-screw. Overall the glass is in very good condition. Just a small chip on the fitter. Untested, for use. The knob turns and a wick moved up and down when we tried a new one.The chimney is 8-1/4" tall with a 2-5/8" flared fitter and 3-3/4" diameter bulge. The burner is about 2-5/8" diameter with a #1 and # 2 connector (7/8" and 1-1/4").
