The oil painting on canvas is 20" 16". The frame is 22 3/5" 18 3/5". This was done by a Nurse named Nancy James Brown in 1864. The painting depicting the Battle of Lookout Mountain. THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THIS OIL ON CANVAS DO NO JUSTICE. SERIOUSLY I spent hours trying to capture the oil colors correctly and the detail it is just not possible to show this painting correctly.
