Original plate from the book Conchology (or, The Natural History of Shells: Containing a New Arrangement of the Genera and Species) Re: published book=>[[London: Printed for William Miller, 1810. Folio (16 6/8 x 11 inches). Half title. 4-page Introduction, text leaves watermarked "W. Turner & Son". 61 exceptionally fine aquatint plates of shells with original hand-colour by John Clarke mostly after Perry, watermarked J. Whatman 1806 and 1810, and J. Whatman W. Balston 1808.
